Sign Stands and Sidewalks: A Perfect Match
It's the smallest city in the smallest country in the country, and I am lucky enough to live directly in the center of it. Regardless of the fact that the city's less than two square miles (two-and-a-half of which are technically water) we have got a vibrant and booming downtown area. It is not a very large downtown area, however the smaller space and easy to access streets which make it an eminently walkable downtown. Our stores are plentiful and diverse - there are jewelry boutiques, pizza joints, a record shop, the coffee shop that has been my next house as I had been writing my master's thesis, fish markets, gift stores, the inevitable Dunkin' Donuts, a food market, a bridal shop, even a cheese shop (though, sadly, it is not staffed by Michael Palin and a fleet of bouzouki players).
